It is the most photographed summit after the Mont Blanc. Located in the south of the Maurienne at the border of the departments of Hautes-Alpes and Savoie in the regions of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the Aiguilles d’Arves represent the highest point of the Arves massif. This impressive summit is made up of three distinct parts: the aiguille Septentrionale (3 163 m), the aiguille Centrale (3 513 m) and the aiguille Méridionale (3 514 m). In winter, several paths allow you to get there by snowshoe, dog sled or snowmobile. In the summer, it is also possible to walk there from several routes.
